We prioritize mobility. The bulletproof backpack weighs only 1.2 lbs (approx.) more than a standard backpack—roughly the weight of a small textbook. We use lightweight polyethylene/Kevlar hybrid panels to ensure the bag remains comfortable for all-day wear, whether for a child or an adult.

Yes, for domestic travel. The TSA generally allows personal body armor in both checked and carry-on bags. Our backpacks are designed to be discreet, making them easy to travel with. Note: If traveling internationally, please check the local laws of your destination regarding body armor.

Level IIIA is the industry standard for soft body armor. It is tested to stop high-velocity handgun rounds (up to .44 Magnum and 9mm). While it is not designed to stop rifle fire, Level IIIA provides robust protection against the most common handgun threats found in public safety incidents.

No. We designed the bulletproof backpack with a “Low Profile” philosophy. It looks exactly like a high-end, standard backpack. It draws zero attention to the armor inside, keeping the wearer anonymous and safe.

Ballistic materials generally have a shelf life of 5 years before the fibers may begin to degrade naturally. We recommend replacing the insert or the backpack every 5 years to guarantee maximum protection. To ensure longevity, store the bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
